Welcome to the world of Cardinal McCloskey Services!

For the past half-century we have provided services to keep children safe, to help families remain stable and to ease the suffering of those challenged by a wide variety of problems. In response to changing community needs our services have grown over the years from the original children's residence to multiple programs in New York City and the surrounding counties.

Presently our services include day care, preventive services, foster care, group care, along with residential and day services for individuals who are mentally retarded or have developmental disabilities. As a vibrant organization we will continue to evolve meeting new needs as they appear while an ever caring society tries to heal the wounds of the less fortunate.

The information contained in this web site will help you to know us better and hopefully will inspire you to join with us in fulfilling our Mission. There are many ways of helping. Some friends simply wish us well and remember those we serve in their prayers. Others join us at Christmas by participating in our toy drive or by making financial contributions. Still others put their talents to work by joining us as employees or volunteering as board members. We are very proud of the work that we do and pleased to have this opportunity to share it with you.
