WALK TO RAISE FUNDS & AWARENESS
ABOUT CHILD ABUSE & LIVING WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Cardinal McCloskey Services' 2nd annual Walk, Footsteps for Dreams will be held on
Saturday, November 3rd 2007, 8:30am — 12 Noon.
The Walk will raise funds to help stop child abuse and raise awareness about living with developmental disabilities. Cardinal McCloskey Services hopes to raise over $75,000 this year.
The Walk will be a 1.5 mile stroll past the original site of the
Cardinal McCloskey Home for Children which was located on the corner of Ridgeway and Mamaroneck Avenue until 1980. Walkers will begin at Archbishop Stepinac High School at 8:30 a.m. and will then return to the high school for festivities and prize presentations.

Prizes will be given to the top three fundraisers, including a laptop computer for the top fund-raiser and iPods to the second and third place fundraisers. There will also be exciting incentive prizes for everyone participating in the walk.
Kacey of WHUD's "Mike and Kacey in the Morning" is the Honorary Chair of the walk and will kick-off and participate in the walk again this year. There will be lots of fun and festivities including giveaways, music, refreshments, raffle prizes and goody bags. Special activities for children include, face painting, a Moon bounce, Wow the Cow and Sparkles the Clown.
